If your BenQ MX818ST MX631ST MW632ST TH682ST MS619ST MW621ST or MX620ST have TEMP LED "ON" or start normally (lamp ignited) and then shutdown with TEMP or LAMP errors, can be a problem with one Fan. Its repairable and worthwhile fixing! As long as the main board is not defective, it is very easy repair by replacing only the mainboard (interface board).
Possible reasons for "blower or lamp won’t start" :
Check if any debris is hampering the fan’s operation : Make a visual inspection to see if there is anything that has got lodged between the fan blades and the housing. Sometimes, just removing the debris and cleaning the area is all that might be needed for the fan to work normally again.
Vents might have become blocked : Vents becoming blocked could also lead to the fan not working. Ensure the projector has a proper airflow which is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the fan.
